Pain and Tepanyaki.

We're packing up the hotel and headed up to stay in Alta with Nat's brother George, so this entry will be quick. The high points from yesterday:
- Nat overcomes her fear and tackles her first big slope.
- We both are in extreme pain from all the extreme contact with ice.
- We meet up with John, Heather, Kim, Doug, Pat, Rebecca, Shan, and Sydney for a little tepanyaki steak at Shogun. Absolutely awesome time catching up on stories, geek talk, and plans for the future.
- Spotting the actor from Almost Famous hanging out at the Red Door lounge.

It's official. I've become a big huge geek. For the longest time, I just skirted the edge, but since this blogging thing has taken over my life. . . well, that statement speaks for itself, doesn't it?
*sigh*
I'm so very jealous of your trip to Utah -- ice-enema, smog-dodging and all -- because you got to go skiing in a place where cold means snow and snow means recreation instead of in atlanta where cold means little more than cold, and even better, you know dooce and blurbomat! The only thing that could top that in my sad state would be if I were present for the reunification of Brad and Jen. Do you think they'd play scrabble with us? (Heather and Jon. . . not Brad and Jen.) You'll have to ask next time you see them.
Cheers, j
