Classic Buford Highway : 1998

I've been looking around for this photo for awhile but couldn't find it. Then serendipitously, it shows up in an email from a friend in South Carolina who found it in her stuff and scanned it for me...

PS. I try hard not to think about the fact that I live in South Carolina, let's just say I live on an island 4.5 hours from Atlanta....

Hi Matt,
i always knew my sister(you know her nickname in high school was "dottee the body") had very, very
coooool children.
i just had no idea that the look of the sixties still lived on in the nineties! and i loved the shot of the pympkin in the street. when do you get the pullitzer?
have a great day,
wynter rayne
p.s. as soon as i get some of my santa fe shots printed, i will send you some so you can check out B&W infrared. unfortunately-at the airport, although they took my film and changing bag, the TSA worker-bee just stuck the cannisters into the bag, didn't bother to zip it up and opened the film. so, of course, i have lovely little light leakes on my negatives.
the upside is, i think i am still a very good photographer. must be that matthews gene!
love,
wynter
