When I was 8 years old, living in Montevideo, Uruguay my parents bought me my very own Green Machine out of the Armed Forces Christmas catalog. I seem to remember Dad complaining about a christmas eve spent trying put it together and almost breaking it in the process. I digres...
Ahhh. Me and my green machine... we tore the barrio up! I remember fishtailing around the sidewalks, freaking out random neighborhood pedestrians and doing my damndest to be the most bad-ass 8 year old on the block. Eventually I wore holes through my killer plastic wheels. A sad day indeed.

You do realize we own one of those, don't you? We bought one for Aedin [I SWEAR IT WAS FOR AEDIN!!!!] a couple christmases ago. The new ones hold up a zillion times better than the old ones [of which I had one also, thanking you berry mush]. I would TOTALLY join a green machine gang of baddass big wheelers! BELIEVE IT!

I would have to go with the big wheel. Even though I'm not there, I might have to get one anyway. Can you imagine Nevin and I on our matching big wheels?! I'd of course bring it to ATL for any special meetings... Count me in!
